అసలు దీన్ని The Inquisistor - సత్యాన్వేషి లో వ్రాయ వచ్చు. (గీతా స్పోర్ట్స్ క్రింద). కానీ జాంకోవిచ్ గురించి ఇక్కడపెట్టాల్సిందే అని అనిపించింది. హేమా హెమీ లని మించి తను ఈసారి సంవత్సరాంతం వరకూ number one గానే ఉంటోంది. అదీ ఒక్క గ్రాండ్ స్లాం రాకుండానే. అంటే ఎంత నిలకడైన ఆట తీరుని కనపరచిందో కదా!
అందుకే తనని "వింబుల్డన్ విలేజ్" లోకి సగౌరవం గా ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాను. ఒక గెస్ట్ గా. తను ఈ వూళ్ళో అమ్మాయి గా ఇంకా గుర్తింపు పొందలేదు. ఇక్కడ పౌరసత్వం రావాలంటే వింబుల్డన్ గెలవాల్సిందే!

ఇక విలియమ్స్ లు number one కాలేక పోయినా తమ పూర్వ వైభవాన్ని చాటారు. (వారి గురించి ప్రత్యెక వ్యాసం రెడీ అవుతోంది).
FedEx, గడ్డు కాలాన్ని ఎదుర్కున్నా మళ్ళీ Swiss indoor tourny గెలిచి సత్తా చాటాడు.
నేను చెప్పినట్టుగానే రాఫా ఈ సంవత్సరానికి number one.
ముర్రే ఎదుగుతున్నాడు. అందుకే రాబోయే సంవత్సరం ఆసక్తి కరం గా సాగే అవకాశం ఉంది.
